Born in India
The brand’s inception goes back to 2012 when four dreamers came together to bring an idea to life, to create the ultimate luxurious experience with safe, effective ingredients that are ethically and sustainably sourced within India. This idea became the Kimirica vision. Founders Kimi Jain, Rica Jain, Mohit Jain and Rajat Jain discovered that there was a gap in the market and became the first movers to fill it by taking a conscious route to give people a luxurious and personalised self-care experience that’s also guilt-free.
At par with international brands
To offer a global appeal, right from the decor of their stores to the design of each product to the ingredients inside it, the brand born in India paid close attention to the smallest of details and how to achieve their goals without sourcing from outside. Kimirica was one of the first few Indian brands that managed to use state-of-the-art packaging techniques like airless pumps, twist, and lock caps; to make every bottle look chic, elegant, and yet fully functional. Homegrown from scratch
While most brands depend on external resources for their R&D, Kimirica decided to take a path that many wouldn’t dare. They turn their ideas into reality in their own labs and manufacturing plants, in India itself. Kimirica has combined the Indian 5000-year-old healing system with modern science to harness the potent power of plants in the most luxurious manner. Conscious choices lie at the heart of everything that this brand does and naturally when it comes to sourcing the raw materials, the founders made a decision to source each ingredient ethically from our own country making the brand and its products truly homegrown. “99% of our ingredients and raw materials are proudly Made in India. And our products are on par with, or better than, the best brands in the world when it comes to quality. We consciously committed at the very beginning to not importing raw materials from different countries,” says, Rajat Jain, Co-founder and Head of R&D, Kimirica. With this in mind, the founders launched the initiative ‘Procure within 100’ under which all the ingredients, raw materials, packaging materials, etc are sourced ethically within a radius of 100 km from their manufacturing plant. With this, they reduce their carbon footprint and generate opportunities for the nearby community.
